Is an architectural practice based in Shenzhen. ARC Z is affiliated with the Shenzhen Institute of Architectural Design and Research Co., Ltd. We are dedicated to exploring a new paradigm of architectural practice that is suited to the contemporary social, cultural, economic, and industrial context of China.We believe that architectural practice is the organic integration of two layers of concepts: one is architecture as the highest crystallization of human culture, art, and engineering capabilities; the other is architecture as a high-quality vessel that carries the everyday life experiences of the public and users. Our architectural design starts from the perspective of society at large and specific users, using the discipline's expertise as a thread for creation and problem-solving. This approach distills architecture that is socially relevant, practical, while maintaining theoretical exploration and artistic value.

Zi Meng, MArch
Holds an MArch I AP degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design (GSD) and a bachelor’s degree from the Bartlett School of Architecture. He practiced at Neri&Hu, Herzog & de Meuron, Coop Himmelb(l)au, and SO – IL before starting ARC Z.

Yangyang Liu, MPhil
Holds an MPhil in Anthropology from University of Cambridge and a bachelor's degree from the Bartlett School of Architecture. He worked at reMIX Studio and SZAD before starting ARC Z.
